Roseville College seeks a Director of Wellbeing to work as part of a strategic and collaborative Executive team in this permanent Executive level opportunity, commencing in 2021 or earlier by negotiation.

Your Invitation

The Director of Wellbeing supports the Principal in strategic and day to day leadership of wellbeing and pastoral care across the College for students, staff and the Roseville College community. Working collaboratively with College leaders, the Director of Wellbeing will develop consistent practices and policies from Kindergarten to Year 12, initiate wellbeing programs and respond to the needs of members of our community as required.

As a member of the College’s Executive team, the Director of Wellbeing is a leadership role responsible for the implementation of the Roseville College Vision, Mission and Values in daily operations, and the implementation of the Roseville College Strategic Direction; Realising Purpose.

The Director of Wellbeing is a role model personally and professionally, with a deep desire to contribute to excellence in girls’ education and to grow our community to be strong in character; confident in identity, considered in citizenship and compassionate in service.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in a school leadership position
  • Proven ability in and commitment to Christian, Community, Educational, Pastoral and Strategic Leadership
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and lead change in an educational context
  • The ability to lead and support teams in a constructive, collaborative and proactive manner
  • Exemplary teaching experience
  • A sound understanding and demonstrated successful application of current pedagogy in girls’ education
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with experience in policy and procedure development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including team building, coaching, mentoring and leadership
  • A desire to grow and nurture others as leaders
  • The capacity to engage and inspire students, staff, parents and members of the wider community
  • A demonstrated personal commitment to the promotion of the Christian vision, mission and values of the College
  • Capacity and willingness to lead and relate with compassion, humility, grace and integrity
  • Flexibility of working hours to undertake regular out of hours activities
  • Eligibility for registration as a teacher in New South Wales, Australia
  • A current valid Working with Children Clearance.
