An Anglican School

Roseville College is an Anglican School for Girls, which means our Christian faith is expressed in the Anglican faith tradition and the College’s core values derive from faith in the Bible and Jesus Christ.

This underpins our dedicated Pastoral Care and Christian Studies programs for Kindergarten to Year 12, and students have access to Chaplaincy services with the College Chaplain; a Reverend of the Anglican Church.

The College vision is guided by the Christian values of Love, Hope, Grace and Truth; likewise, students are actively encouraged to practise faith-based qualities such as self-control, service, grace, kindness, mercy, forgiveness and love.

Each girl participates in a range of community service learning initiatives during her time at Roseville College, and has the opportunity to join faith and values-based clubs and programs on campus (such as Crusaders, Charity and Service clubs, Anglicare, and International Service Learning Trips).

Christian Ethos and Guiding Values

Roseville College stands upon four foundations: Christian Faith, Character, Leadership and Community. On these, we cast our vision of Realising Purpose.

In our vision of Realising Purpose, our guiding values are faith, love, hope and truth.

At Roseville College, this means leading in the education of girls, governed by and infused with authentic faith in Jesus Christ. As an Anglican school and a member of The Anglican Schools Corporation, the College's core values derive from faith in the Bible and Jesus Christ, and on this our dedicated Pastoral Care and Christian Studies programs for Kindergarten to Year 12 are established. Faith is an evident and important aspect of College routine and tradition, with a dedicated College Chaplain offering instruction and guidance.

Faith Community

Members of the Roseville College Parents' Association (RCPA) and staff also meet (separately) each month for prayer and Christian fellowship, and many families are active members of local Church communities.

The College's local Church is St Andrew's Anglican Church at the corner of Bancroft Avenue and Hill Street, Roseville. Members of the College community are encouraged and welcome to attend. College chapel services may be held at St Andrew’s, and enquires are welcome for the weddings of Old Girls. Phone: 9412 2553

School Bible Reading

Colossians 3:12-17 (NRSV)

As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another with all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
