Old Girls’ Union

Welcome to the Roseville College Alumnae page. It's great to make a connection through our web page and hopefully everyone will use it to keep in touch with Roseville and with one another.
Our reunion program has been hugely successful in bringing many of our alumnae groups together. These reunions are initiated by the Old Girls' Union and a 'Reunion Information Kit' will be sent to a year coordinator to help these half-decade and decade reunions come to fruition. The Alumnae Office at the College is always available to offer help and advice for these reunions. If you are an Old Girl celebrating a 40-year or more reunion, please contact the Alumnae Office for details of our Annual Hinemoan Luncheon. This is a really great reunion day where old friends can meet, reminisce and catch up each year, see the College and hear about the latest developments and plans.
We are extremely fortunate to have an Alumnae group who are keen to give back to the College in a variety of ways. Many Old Girls return to the community to coach junior and senior sporting teams, coach debating teams, tutor music students and many return to enlighten our girls on their various professions on Careers Night. A mentoring scheme is also being developed. If you are still playing representative sport, the Old Girls have teams in hockey, tennis, cricket, netball, basketball and softball and we have competitive matches against the Roseville 1sts. If you would like to play in or help convene these Old Girl vs Roseville 1sts matches, please contact the Alumnae Office, we’d love to hear from you.
The OGU provides a Studentship Grant for a girl in Year 11 and 12. It also donates various prizes on Presentation Night. Part scholarships are funded by Life Membership subscriptions to the Old Girls' Union and through fundraising activities. Life Membership is $200. Please click here to download a Life Membership form.
Old Girls can receive news in our section of The Rose magazine, Roseville Recollections. We love to receive news about our Old Girls and to hear what you are all doing with your lives. If you are on our database and we have your correct mailing details, you will receive your biannual copy of The Rose.
Finally, we’d like to invite you to come along to our Old Girls’ Meetings. The dates are listed below. We meet only four times a year to plan our annual events and to discuss how we might contribute to the life of the College and our Old Girls. If you have been thinking about joining the Old Girls’ Committee, hesitate no longer – come and see us!
Please contact the Alumnae Office at alumnae@roseville.nsw.edu.au or phone 9884 1100 with any news for publication, changes of address, reunion information, mentoring enquiries, membership enquiries or to just make contact - anytime.
