Sports Facilities

Sport Facilities Roseville College girls enjoy and participate in many diverse sport and physical educational activities.

The College's 25 metre heated swimming pool is extensively used by girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. The girls participate in many aquatic activities including lap swimming, stroke correction, swim squads and lifesaving awards.

The Multi Purpose Hall provides outstanding indoor facilities for sports such as basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton and is used regularly for gymnastics.

There are two Multi Purpose Sports Courts on campus, which are used for a variety of sports and activities including tennis and cricket. The courts are surfaced with mod grass and run north / south on the north eastern boundary of the campus and are surrounded by extensive landscaping.

To enhance the girls’ opportunities, the College leases a rowing shed on the Lane Cove River where Roseville rowers train throughout the year. The rowing program has grown enormously and the College now owns 12 rowing boats (1 eight, 7 fours and 4 single sculls).

The College also makes excellent use of local sporting facilities including golf courses, cricket pitches, squash courts and fitness centres. Several municipal ovals within walking distance of the school are used regularly for hockey, soccer and softball as well as for inter-schools sports competition training.
