Junior School
Our new purpose-built Junior School features large spacious classrooms which
are linked to each other as extended teaching spaces, or closed for specific
requirements. Within each classroom, there are withdrawal areas for art and
craft activities as well as data projectors.
State-of-the-art computer pods and labs are available for each learning area. The building also incorporates music rooms and a spacious Before and After School Care facility which flows onto a large central courtyard.
An abundance of natural light, ventilation and aspect are important design features of the new building, which is located on the same campus and has its own special place nestled on the eastern side of the Information Resource Centre and closely positioned to the Hall for ease of access for indoor sports activities and assemblies.
The new Junior School was opened in 2004 by Dr Brendan Nelson, Federal Minister for Education, Science and Training and dedicated by the Chairman of the Sydney Anglican School Corporation, Rev Ian Mears.
