Roseville College is an established, respected independent day school for girls in Kindergarten to Year 12, centrally located in Roseville on Sydney's North Shore since 1908.

Academic Positions

English Teacher
  • Temporary Position for Terms 3 and 4 2018
  • Convenient North Shore location close to train
  • Work full time during school term

The English teacher will be passionate about personalised learning and the care for girls and is responsible for teaching Stages 4 and 5 in a technology rich environment. You will be an engaging and effective classroom practitioner whose knowledge, skills and passion for English will inspire students to engage themselves deeply into this subject.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Qualifications in Secondary Education and English
  • Experience in the development and delivery of Stages 4-5 English
  • Demonstrated effectiveness as an innovative and motivated English educator with a passion for learning, eLearning and teaching across Stages 4-5
  • A strong knowledge of pedagogy
  • An understanding of the requirements of the NSW Education Standards Authority.
  • Passion for supporting girls achieve their best within the classroom
  • The ability to effectively operate as a member of a dynamic team
  • A strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • A high degree of flexibility and motivation for the role
  • A track record of being approachable with an empathetic work ethic
  • Willingness to be involved in the broader life of the College
  • Demonstrated commitment to Christian values.

Digital Technologies Leader

The Digital Technologies Leader provides a visionary leadership to teach, promote, support and sustain a dynamic learning culture that models and encourages the effective use of technology for learning at Roseville College for girls and staff. The role is responsible for collaborating with teachers to make the most of technology and the solutions available to them, promoting effective and innovative teaching practices and positive learning outcomes for the students at Roseville College.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Relevant primary or secondary education qualifications
  • An understanding of the requirements of the NESA syllabi
  • Have a passion for teaching girls within the framework of 21st Century teaching and learning
  • Have an ability to promote, model and collaborate to ensure policies and practices supporting safe, legal and ethical use of digital information and technology are paramount for the whole Roseville College community
